a quarterback is the first reciever of the kick out??These are the roles Bevo plays:
1. Defender on small forwards (Grant etc)
2. Defender on tallish mobile forwards (Brennan)
3. Quarterback (defined as first receiver of the kick out making position between full back and half back, who then sets up the play forward)
4. Defensive/half forward flanker
5. Small strong marking forward pocket
6. Tagging midfielder
7. Chief whipping boy on RWO
Gentlemen we have a multitude
when do they go to bevan?? hardly ever
i hate the quarterback term for our sport but if anything id say mattner, kennelly or a fit malceski fit the quarterback role a lot closer than bevan. Setting up play and so onTheres not much left to sayComment

Bevo takes a lot of kick outs in the central defensive corridor. Its the second kick/handpass that usually directs the attack.a quarterback is the first reciever of the kick out??
