The 50m penalties were the thing that stood out. And as the commentators said, in a game like that they were even more valuable than normal.
The one against Davis was probably reasonable - he hung on a bit too long.
The one against O'Loughlin was rubbish. One of the ones against Jude was pretty harsh and I can't remember the other one against him.
In contrast, Buchanan was awarded a free for a headhigh tackle and his opponent remained on top of him with his legs wrapped around Buchanan's neck, arguing the toss about the free with the umpire. It was the most blatant 50m incident of them all, yet Monty got nothing.
Besides the 50m penalties it was its usual self @@@@.

Interestingly, Dr Peter Larkins said on TFS last night that he had seen on a couple of occasions when our guys ran onto the field prior to the interchange player coming off. He indicated that Brent Harvey went to come off and went straight back on without being interchanged, but (I forget who he said it was) ran back on to tag Harvey before another Swans player came off. He reckons there was a 20 sceond period where we had 19 players on the field other than the White / Jolly situation.
