Yeah - strange that. I saw the 5-6 weeks and was thinking of that as playing, but re-read and saw just training. Can't imagine either Playfair or Everitt to be fully fit (hence Swantastic's point).

Yep, I'd have thought they want to be extra certain he is fine... that plus Henry really hasn't proven himself (as far as I am aware) as any more of an instant walk up senior player than Henry is.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Also admit I'm surprised by that one.

Tend to agree with that as well, but after Davis' totally lamentable performance, he could well get another taste of it, even with Spida coming back. Both White or Spida are quite capable of playing some sort of role up forward whilst alternating giving Jolly a spell when needed.

Still early in the week, so it may be just mind games from Roos. However I would be surprised if they play two underdone talls against the Bulldogs. We will see.

I don't have any recollection of Playfair playing except the VFL GF I watched on TV - in which he played very well at CHB. So now he is a tall forward?

A bit silly isn't it, Davis has copped a lot of flack for being 'underdone'..and these guys seem no different.

They must have shouted Roosy a beer at the pub.

more encouraging words from roosy this time whilst dropping davis, but not sure why he is putting a time frame on it.

It would be interesting to know why he is under done and hasnt had a good solid month in pre season?

wrong to toss white after 1 week, and poor Nick

Shouldnt drop the kid after last week, same for Smith the week before. They need at least a couple of games in the seniors to get afeel for it. Look at Laidlaw last year did alright against Geelong and then dropped and have not seen him since. Nick Davis must be a the wrong side of Roosey he gets the blame for everything , although he missed a couplke last week I would almost bet my life on him kicking most shots at goal unlike a lot of others, He is not going to get a million kicks each game but normally he is good for a couple of goals that is what half forwards a for.

How can the Swans persiste in playing LRT in the forard line its a bloody joke.I reckon that they have no where else to hide him.If that is the case then why dont they just put Spida at CHF and leave Nick Smith on the bench.

Given Roos likes a balanced team, I reckon it is likely Mathews will come in for Ablett.

They are more substitutable than Brennan is. Or perhaps they will go for Smith for leg speed..
