Great game from a team that will go places.I'm not going to continue with all the accolades cause they have been done.
We did have a couple of blokes who were very much out of form.Mal is one.Maybe he should have come back through the two's as he doesn't seem to be playing with much confidence.Pre injury he was a quick line breaker with a sensational boot but we have yet to see this.He needs to run where the traffic is lighter to get back to the standard we know he is capable of.
Leo Barry is a player who has been fantastic over the years but now when he gets possession I close my eyes cause you never know what he is going to do.
Most important for me today was some of the teamwork..OUTSTANDING.A champion team will always beat a team of champions and I felt that was the case against Port.WELL DONE BOYS !!!!!!!!!

[QUOTE=DST;383529]Can I just say, the in's of Mattner & Moore for Dempster & Scheinder have been a master stroke.

I was happy on paper with what the club did at the end of last year, but in all honesty they knew exactly what they were doing with Moore being ready to play and targeting Mattner.

I tend to agree nowadays. Obviously I was a Schneider fan (you think??) but since watching him with opposition supporters eyes and not red and white eyes, I can see how crap he was!!! We want MOORE!
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"

Had to watch the game on video as I worked yesterday. What a win! Just another example of why the Swans are known as "The Cardiac Kids". I thought they were gone midway through the last quarter. Looked like they had nothing left, but what do you know they found a way to get the win.

The difference with me though is what you hear and see is what you get. I am not on EPO or Growth Hormones, have not run away from police on a freeway, haven't been pulled over for a drug search of my car and have yet to be photographed on a park bench either drunk or on a drug over dose. I also dont profess to play football as well as he.

It has been ages....we haven't won an old fashioned tight game since the prelim in 2006 at Subiaco....and that was about the only tight game we won that year.....about to watch the game on afl.com....IF IT WORKS

Only 2 miracles needed and it'll be Saint Nico or RWO.

                      BTW: How's the Calf?
I remember spraining wrist a couple of years ago when after a dodgy umpiring decision I went to slam the cushion of the sofa but missed and got the wooden edge. This game can be tough on the body.

The calf is pretty sore. Can walk on it only slightly and can't put any stretch into it at all. Probably slightly better than I thought it would be and not bad enough for a sickie tomorrow. The great thing about doing the calf in the lounge is you are not out for a couple of weeks. Next week is yet another game.

I am sure we are not the only 2 people to do ourselves an injury watching the footy in the lounge.

The Big Footy mods would have to be the softest mods on any board/forum I've visited. I started a thread about the indigenous round, suggesting that the commentators shouldn't bring it up every time an aboriginal player kicks a goal, because in a way it's taking a way from the player and suggesting that they're more inspired by the round itself.

It was deleted after 5 minutes.
