Just saw the tackle from Mattner and it was bloody swantastic.

Gee haven't the Swans got a knack of picking up players from other clubs and turning them into better players.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

I was actually a little disappointed in the way they didn't bother going past the boundary line to thank us all. But maybe I just expect too much at times..

At Port-Essendon the Port players went down to the fence to shake hands & high 5 the people who came across to support them. I was shocked to see that sort of thing at this level of football. It goes without saying that it meant the world to the travelling fans.

You have to be joking right? If not then you need an attitude realignment. You are there to support the team, not the other way around. The boys had just played the most intense game of the year, most were exhausted by 3/4 time, and all you can do is whinge because they didn't acknowledge you. You have got to be joking.

v Essendon MCG 2004 is still Bevo's best game, but he is starting to produce games almost as equal on a regular basis.

As for JF, have a Bex and a good lie down, you've become delusional.

My feelings on this probably stem from years of seeing the players go to all corners of the SCG and deliberately avoid the Cheer Squad & fans behind the goals. So it is kind of a long-standing thing with me. (Having players burst out laughing & sneering at the banner ripping when they have just come up the race is indeed indicative as the esteem the Sydney-based cheer squad are held )

Again, two weeks ago I saw the Port players go up and talk & high 5 all their travelling fans. I thought that was tops.

Gotta say that I agree with you JF. It's a pretty pricey exercise to travel to an interstate game and after a good win like that, I don't think it would have hurt them to have high fived or shaken a few hands either.

I know what it's like. I remember bumping into one Ronald Dale Barassi at the urinals after a game when he was coaching the Swans. The lazy so and so didn't even offer to assist me with a shake after I'd just shelled out $20 on a ticket just to see us lose again.... How rude.
