Played like @@@@ today, but so did a lot of other players.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

First kick was superb, and then nothing special afterwards.

Didn't have his best game, then again he wasn't alone there. A few of the boys were below their best. Maybe Roosy right, they need a break.

If he has 3 more good games I'd say he could be in the running for the League's Most Improved. Way to show the McHackers, Triple M! Keep it up when the Large Professor comes back and opens things up for everyone and turns the goal square into Crumb City Central!

McVeigh has done his best work this year when in the F50, as was seen on Sunday. Opposite to Henry his field kicking is not as good as his goal kicking, where as Moore is much better at finding a target in the F50, so get him out of there and leave him in the centre (although his tank might not be up to long stints there, yet).

Its strange that, when some one can be a good field kicker but crap in front of goals or vice versa.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Yep. It's a mental thing. They have the skill, but not the confidence.

Bloody oath it is but you would reckon that Tupea McVeigh is brimming with confidence ATM.

Maybe his is a decision making issue, more than a confidence thing.

Confidence should bring on correct decision making IMO.

Sometimes, but not always. There were several instances where he missed a target on Sunday, and one where he popped the ball so high he gave the forward (MOD, I think) not real opportunity to mark it.

                          I hope that's a cash prize.

Sydney's Jarrad McVeigh and Essendon's Jobe Watson were both fined $1950 for making negligent contact with field umpires during round 16 matches.

He was on THE BIG SPORTS BREAKFAST this am, quite a shy person, not cheeky, toeing the line, not bagging or bragging.

Yes good points Scott, that high floater was right in front of me he actually did another one as well. That still shows he hasnt got the footy smarts as yet.
4goals was a good effort 3 were gifts in the square and the other was good body position, there is hope yet for McHack.

                                "Don't kick a goal"

                                Code:
                                2008 Goals
                                Player Gm G B S Acc G/Gm
                                O'Loughlin M 16 36 21 237 63.2 2.3
                                [B]McVeigh J 16 21 6 132 77.8 1.3[/B]
Who would've thought he'd be 2nd. And that accurate.
