I have had a bit of a long read of thse posts and I am glad most of you fell about laughing at some of the original suggestions, especially Currie and White. Currie because his improvement in the last four or five weeks has been really interesting; his tap work more refined. White, well really. No.

In the kiddie class I think perhaps Braba may not get a go, Barlow and Schmidt may want to be traded. We will see.

I am afraid, against the loyalty to our players factor, that Crouch and Mathews may need to look beyond their current situation, and after watching Benny in the ressies on a number of occasions he is doing what Fruity used to do. Guide and coach the younguns. He is a class act.

I have learned over the years that the coaches know more about the players than the mob do. I call to the Bench McVeigh milords. I have had that pie rubbed into my face on more than one occasion and I still feel the need to apologise for my lack of faith. There are things going on in the running of a club that we will NEVER know about, no matter how many rumours are set up, how many threads of information.

Barry: Clangers & Errors occuring way too often. Not as important anymore as he was throughout the glory days of 05-06. Loyal servant but his services are no longer needed, holding back a youngster.

Ok, I'm a card-carrying member of the Leo fan club, but I stll laugh at the unsubstantiated urban myths that surround him.

The above analysis is an absolute crock...

"Clangers & Errors occuring way too often" - What (e.g. statistics) do you have to support this?? Roos has always encouraged the unpredictability of Leo's run and the opportunities it creates. He, like everyone makes mistakes, but the only diference is his are a little more obvious because of his individuality and flair. Show me some real evidence that his efficiency is low compared to the average player in our team, or get an informed opinion.

"His services are no longer needed" - LOL. So why is he playing seniors now, and how can you possibly say that this view/situation will change with the people that actually matter in 3 months time?

"Holding back a youngster" - who?? Who would be doing a better job, or even anything like (still) holding key forwards, providing run, leadership, physical presence, etc.

I won't go into all of his strengths as a player (for those who seem to purely focus on his mistakes)... but he is one of, if not the 'hardest' players in our club. Certainly pound for pound IMO. For example, one of our few players who imposes himself with a good hip and shoulder.

BTW, with a name like Cheese, can I assume you are a fan of Ed 'built like Tarzan, plays like Jane' Barlow? If so, i can understand why things like hardness are not what you look for.

Agree with you Bear
Leo's mistakes stand out more than most because he is trying to create run with his crazy legs.
I wish he had learnt to kick with on both sides as we all know he wants to get on to his left to kick.
I was thinking last year he may be past it, but this year he has been very solid and with some big games coming up I, for one, am glad he is down back with B2 marshalling the troops.
