Richards and LRT did OK as well. I actually thought Playfair played better than Hall.

Bird and Moore left Buchanan in their wake. Jarrad (or however you bloody spell it)McVeigh came back to the field.Ablett tried hard.Jack and Bevan bumbled in an LRT type way. Bevan did make some good bits of play early.

I thought in the first quarter we could do it even though we weren't scoring but we lost the mind game and went into our shell. They could mark the ball and we couldn't. At least Playfair took a couple of grabs and did a few constructive things on the ground as regards knockons.

B2 played a blinder on Daisy in the second half. Well done to him. Kirk was terrific...he had almost Hird type time and creation of space tonight. Thank heavens for him.

Barry Hall should be disciplined and dropped to the seconds.

      tonight

ablett- some questions need to be asked hasnt had a great year, but i wouldnt drop him

barry- im not one of his biggest fans and he makes mistakes but i thought tonight he at least tried to create some play even if it didnt work that well

bevan- he doesnt have the disposal skills for this level id drop him he does nothing with it

bird- i thought he was pretty creative in the last quarter and was the best of the young kids. Tried hard early too

c.bolton- good 2nd half, gave us something, surprised didnt hurt himself on that turf.

j.bolton- appeared in the last quarter but where was he when he needed. His disposal continues to be awful.

buchanan- not one kick that i can remember? where was he? needs a good game next week

everitt- his tap work is still top notch, even looked a bit quicker late and is quite a good kick, needs more of the ball though.

hall- was working with very poor delivery, but calm the hell down barry. We went back to kicking to him 9.9 times out of 10

jack- got a fair bit in the last quarter could of nailed a few goals- needs a rest maybe schmidt in for him?

jolly- one of the better players- felt he tried to go long more than others etc

kennelly- he got it a fair bit, but was always under pressure, doesnt look anywhere near 100% to me

kirk- doesnt play a bad game- but was never going to take the goodes type roll etc,

      malceski- he isnt right either

mattner- you dont always have to pass to barry, not his best, but was far from the worst tonight like to see him kick forward more.

mcveigh- unsighted a lot of the night, but having a good year, cant be great every week

moore- unsighted a lot of the game as well, might be worth a rest? looks tired?

okeefe- for a so called star he was not there when we needed- pretty pathetic to be honest. he has to kick better for goal.

oloughlin- playing deep in the forward line he needs to ball kicked somewhere near him, but those late misses were pathetic

playfair- if you cant kick 30 metres on a consistent basis you dont belong in an afl side

richards- tried hard didnt do much, but had a dip i felt.

roberts-thompson- took a few marks bout his usual
Theres not much left to say

What is with the @@@@kickers in the side? Missing sitters from 15 metres out, banana kicking when you should use the other foot, playing on and snapping at the goal rather than a deliberate shot. Piss weak!

Jack had a dip in the last qtr.

Bird tried hard as well, B1 put in too,

Conversion from set shots was a BIG problem as well.

We just didn't have any consistancy for four quarters.

At least he got the ball - and had a go.

Finishing let him down, just like MOL & BH tonight.

i didnt say anyone out for certain except playfair and bevan.

goodes and davis would be good inclusions
Maybe schmidt if hes fit and barlow for one or two of the young guys give them a rest.

I thought Moore, Kennelly and Malceski were gone?

You know about Capital letters right?

It will be interesting to hear the reports about the Reserves as regards to who played well.

Had a lot of the ball but seemed to do little with it.

                              Zero kicks - absolute shocker.

jack- got a fair bit in the last quarter could of nailed a few goals- needs a rest maybe schmidt in for him?
He seems to get more game time than most of the other younger players so I suspect he will tire toward the end of the season. I think we need to bring Schmidt back soon.

kennelly- he got it a fair bit, but was always under pressure, doesnt look anywhere near 100% to me
                              Same.

He's an extractor - needs running players to give the ball to and we had none.

i also agree about keneally. he seems to have lost pace and mobility. the way he was run down in the first quarter was a really bad sign and reminded me of leo getting caught by rocca last year.
