Good I hope the Psychologist rules him unfit to play for a few weeks. I also think with Hall's apparent hardness on himself (resigning from the leadership group etc) I think he will seriously reconsider his career in AFL football during the time off. I would not be surprised if he retires.
I don't really want him to, but it wouldn't surprise me.Comment

Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Face it, he's slowly down, not as good as he was, and getting angry, which leads to these incidents.Good I hope the Psychologist rules him unfit to play for a few weeks. Same with Goodes. Time to trade or get them to retire.
Better still, sign the Fevola, at least he can run.doof-doof

I feel sorry for the big stupid lug (and annoyed with him at the same time, although we don't really know the full story).Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I agree that that there is a small but real chance Barry Hall has played his last game for the Swans. What is left on his contract?Good I hope the Psychologist rules him unfit to play for a few weeks. Anyway, credit to Paul Roos and the club for this decision, however, they should have gone further. Something like minimum 4 weeks club suspension with decision on whether he can come back and play after that dependent on pscyhological assessment. He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.Comment

I assume the full story (presuming there is one) will come out this week. You can't have the club saying he is mentally unfit to play without someone leaking exactly what's going on, however tightly the club would like to control it.
I don't think we'll see Hall play again this year."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
