I am not going to bother. I just spent 20 minutes providing some sort of explanation, but then asked myself why. It is a waste of time. If have read the cases that you have cited as examples, and none of them are remotely relevant. I am not going to bother, save to say that I am confident that I, and a colleague I have chatted to about this issue, are far better qualified to understand the situation than you are. I will content myself with the fact that I know the answer and that I have nothing to prove to you, or any other ignoramus here that dribbles crap about issues that they know nothing about but are so set in their prejudiced ways that they refuse to listen to those who do know what they are talking about.

Nick is still a valued player at the Swans and won't be going anywhere

Fair enough. Apparently the contractual requirement that employees are honest with their employers and vice versa doesn't apply in the ACT. Figures

Are you saying that an employee does not have a right to talk to, be interviewed by, and negotiate with another potential employer without breaching their current contract of employment? Because if you are, you are terribly misguided.

No. i am saying that an if an employee acts in a dishonest and devious way in negotiating a future contract with a competitor which can affect the business of the employees employer then we have a breach of contract. And thats pretty much what Davis did

                  LOL

You hate Davis that much? Cmon, nearly every available player has their manager out there pimping them. It's part of the game.

Don't hate Davis at all. However, player managers are another story. And Davis manager is even more of another story. The knowledge of employment contract law by the average player manager is non-existent. Ignorance is bliss

This has become really quite ridiculous.

You have embarrassed yourself, Connolly. The question that remains outstanding is - do you think Jonathan Brown should be sacked from Brisbane, now that it has been revealed his management was negotiating with Melbourne?

If you do then you are a fool, if you don't then you are a hypocrite.

Your posts on Nick are slanderous and border on defamation.
