Dissapointed for Nick but I have no doubt he will make it. Is a confidence player and when shown faith he will produce. Still very light on. Is very skillful and will begin to show it over the next few years. Funny story about Nick Smith is when he was rookied to Sydney, the Kangaroos had told him they would definately rookie him so he had his heart set on Melbourne, when told the Swans drafted him he was firm that he would'nt go. Ended up having Goodes, Kirk talk to him and he still wasn't convinced until Roos had a talking to him. Hasn't turned back.

Also found out that Malceski was out last week with problems with his non-bionic knee. Does'nt sound good. Also has anyone seen Malcho's massive tat on his back. think its the southern cross.

Why anyone would want both Spida and LRT on the bench is beyond me. Two lumbering slow players with little versatility. Not to mention Smith getting about 5 mins a quarter then getting dropped....that sucks.

Sorry everyone but it seems like Roosy has gone back to his 2007 ways a little bit.

In 2007 he played blokes who shouldn't be in the side in place of blokes who should be. Mainly because of reputation. When a young bloke came in they were given about 5 minutes a quarter and then dropped a couple of weeks later.

He's starting to do that again.

There's always a chance of a late change involving Spida, but I can't see it happening.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Can't believe LRT continues to get picked.

Surely Faulks can't do a worse job than LRT. A team with LRT, Spida and Playfair surely can't expect to challenge for a flag

Give it a rest, he is playing a first gamer in O'Dwyer and bringing back Malceski. What more do you want.

Everitt's issue is he needs more game time not being dropped to the reserves. He will be given to the end of the year and if he is still struggling to bend down and get the ball below his knees then he will be gone and Currie will be our new second ruckman to Jolly.

As I said in another thread, I felt sorry for Spida last week - he just can't do what he used to do anymore and I don't see anyway to change it.

Let him coach the kids and give them a go in the remaining rounds

With the bullies, cats, wobbles & hawks all having our measure is it time for a surprise finals time Goodes as a shock weapon in the ruck he did dominate the cats in there for for a brief period.
If we're serious about the flag this year Goodes has to play ther in finals.
Does anyone honestly see Everitt as the answer his lack of mobility we be found out.
Also with Kenelley should he be on a wing somewhere with that bad shoulder where he can use his running power instead.

Agreed, we don't look to be a serious threat with our present structure, so caution should be thrown to the wind. I agree with : Goodes to ruck and rest up forward alternating with Jolly. Kennelly to wing. I'd also like to see :
Hall to wing. LRT - out. Everitt - Out. Either Ablett or J Bolton -out
Pace on the bench. From ; Barlow, O'Dwyer, smith, fosdyke, white/currie for height.
