I watch the Swans irregularly over here in Thailand but caught Jolly's game this week. What an amazing improvement! Can't believe he is the same player. He along with Jude got us across the line when the Umpires threatened to steal the game away!

      I'll back that up.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Does anyone else think having Spider along side of him has taught him more about ruck play. He has also put on so much more upper body strength.

Go Swannies, just scrapped in today, but while we are there, we are in with a chance.
I believe he was one player along with two others who was told that he was wasting his talent at a truth session by the playing group at the start of the season. One other named in another thread has also lifted his game to a new level also(No prizes for guessing who the third was)

Those 3 copped it pretty bad apparently compared to everyone else.

Huh? I thought the consensus about the Swans was that they were a dour no-talent bunch who only stayed competitive by bleeding for the cause every week.

Cox will surely have the ruck spot in the All Australian team, but Jolly wouldn't be far off the bench spot.

Jolly vs Hille for the bench spot.

Probably Sandilands too I'd say. He has had some outstanding games this year.

Both Sandilands and Hille are ahead of Jolly statistically, but hopefully the side's success will count for something.

Just watching The Winners highlights - that goal in Q4 was superb.

I agree ... 2006 was not just about a guy having an off day, he appeared disinterested at the worst possible moment ... doyle got us back in the match, all we needed was an ok performance from jolly and we should of won the grand final comfortably. He needs to play a great match in a knock out final to make up for his 2006 GF effort.

You need to build a bridge. Yes, he played a crap game in the 06 GF but he certainly wasn't Robinson Crusoe there.
It is very convenient to blame Mrs and baby Jolly for how he played but perhaps the injury to his hand could have played a small part in his lackadaisical display.
