I swear you are so bloody determined to be pessimistic all the time. It does tend to grate after a while you realise. With you it seems a case of the glass not being half full or empty but why was the glass ever emptied in the first place. And the fact that the glass is empty will lead to an eternally depressing existance.

The more the week goes, the more optimistic I get about the game. It will tell us where we stand on things. And it will tell us what tactics are best suited when playing a team like the Cats. I don't dream that we'll win, but I'm getting increasingly excited about the opportunity we have to have a crack at them.Weirdly on Bigfooty the Cats fans are saying this is the type of game they could well lose.

All I can say is that I know the Swans will be 'up' for the game. They will be determined & maybe even excited at training all week. Hopefully playing a btter team will indeed lift us as an opponent.

I agree. I thought we were very ordinary at times last night, and were VERY lucky to get away with a win.

I am not all that confident this week, and no more confident for the rest of the season than I was last week.

In theory we should be better next week than last night.

Indeed. Underdogs take on top cats. Does Vez care about reputation? Is Bevo cacking his daks over Ablett? Birdy couldn't give a stuff about Brownlow Medalists. Cracker wants to get at them. They are excited. Im excited! We are (or almost all of us) are excited!! Can't wait.

Our chances are wholly reliant on what Geelong side turns up. If Geelong play well then then the only thing in doubt is the margin Geelong win by. If they are looking to September and don't give us due respect then we have a slight hope.

bloods did not say either way what he thought made a comment on the shift in attitudes on here after one win. Bit harsh to make it sound like he is always down on the team etc.
