Its amazing you say that. On before the game (saturday night) with Adam Simspon, he made a smart remark about the 19 players and along the lines that cost them 4th also. Not just the thumping from the power.

When they win the Shinboner Spirit line gets rolled out all the time when they lose its the old apology line to all the Roos supporters. The old faithful turned up again ( 22,000 turned out for Shannon Grants 300th). Pretty weak.
Lucky they gave the draw probably only get 25-30 Thousand in Melb (10 of which would be Swans supporters)
Now Laidley resorts to talking about the past.

We do have more pace around the ground, LRT is in his September form, Big Beamish is just a fraction off the big grabs and big goals, Bulldog is off the leash and we have found a kid who plays.

Poor Leo can lay a little finger on his player as it is and the umpire gives free kick. Imagine what it is going to be on Saturday night. There were two free kicks awarded against Leo that were clearly not frees. The umpires hate us as it is.

I would really love to see Leo play on Barry Hall and see who gets the free kick!! Hally's opponent can do whatever he likes to Hally but Leo/B2 cannot touch their opponent - must be so frustrating!!

Yes a desperate move from a desperate Coach. Obviously trying to deflect the criticism from their poor performance against Power. The Umpires cannot realistically pay more free kicks in the opposition's forward line. If they do that Hall may have to get a free to even things up.

What a pathetic creature Laidley is. Typical of the whinging attitude that is so typical of the North Melbourne Football Club. He must be wetting himself to be squealing to the umpires before the game has even started. Grow up, and start coaching instead of whinging for once in your insipid football career.
