Got to hand it to Caro, she stuck to her guns and then gave both of them a backhanded serve in the paper today by getting Roos to agree with her way of thinking.

Oh and by the way I commented a couple of days ago that if Roos goes on after this year then he won't walk away from a half completed project and will extend his contract next year.

He looks to have the fire to stick it up the Melboune Marfia again by rebuilding quickly and challenging again in two or three years time.

Between this and the Footy Confidential POV she took about us a few weeks ago

As they said in Zoolander.... "Caro..so hot right now!"

      Excellent comments by the Messiah.

Sure buries the argument about his intellect.

I am inclined to agree with you. He really seems to be showing more passion this year, such as the win over Carton. I hope the boys first up as much as he is at the moment!

He is great for our club, and I hope he stays on at the Swans.

I thought I had stumbled onto another website - all this glowing praise for Roos... Maybe beating a 2nd rate team with no passion has convinced everyone Roos has turned the corner???

But this is still the guy with no plan "B" who stuck with his old crocks for too long and has been out coached over the last six - seven games.

Has been great for the club but given the list probably time for a breath of fresh air and its definately time for a new game plan.

          Let the waz bashing begin..

          Cheers

I'll start! If it hadn't been for injuries to the depth, we would have seen more changes this season - people like Schmidt and Laidlaw for starters.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I don't post often but, this thread is the breath of fresh air!

Beating , without a decent fit side, to 6 consecutive finals!

              Plan B requires fresh list!

Only 2 existing coaches currently have won a premiership... both...one second last one 4th last, NONE have achieved it in 3 full years! (OK 3 but he hasn't since Sydney got the spoon!)

Have you got someone better "fresher in head" in mind? No.... Horse is already in the corale!

Planning for a fresh list should begin before list needs refreshing i.e. dont wait until half your squad turns 30 before implementation.

Horse is not a breath of fresh air more like walking into a room full of stale air.

Great we won a premiership and made another GF - fantastic but the challenge was always going to be where is the next premiership coming from, we havent been improving since the last one have we??

                  Cheers

Good on ya Waz, the beauty of freedom of speech. Don't you just love the diverse opinions that surround our game.

I agree on the old crocks bit, but not sure I can agree on the outcoached bit over 6-7 games. One or 2 maybe but 6-7 is stretching it a bit.

Its the diverse opinions and friendly banter that contribute to making it the greatest game on earth. We all find /notice different aspects on every player & coach which we use to define our own opinions, we luv em, we hate em, we luv em again but the best part is sharing these opinions with other supporters.

I cringe every time I make a post because I am sharing my inner most thoughts with people I dont know, but Im willing to put my thoughts out there and I really enjoy the responses whether positive or negative.

IMHO he has coached poorly since the break - coaching includes playing unfit players, a couple of unusual selections (what the - playing Fossie 1 game and against a rampaging Geelong then banishing him) and not having a plan B or the flexibility in the game plan to adjust to opposition tactics on match day.

These guys may or may not agree with me,
Neil Craig, Mick Malthouse x 2, Rodney Eade, Brett Ratten - we won but to me Ratten had Roos Rattled.

                      Cheers
