    Swans offer Kerr 5 years

Geez I hope we can get him! Will go along way in solving the midfield worries, I have no idea how we are gonna do the deal though, 2 picks in the top 10 and 1 being pick 4 or under will be near impossible to get a trade unless o'keefe is on the move.

So would end the "No Dick Head Policy" & with his usual run of injury
and suspension we could get 4 years of service on a 5 year deal.

Five years is about what he should have got in the Perth Magistrates Court. The price is too high in a number of ways. Wojiniski from Geelong and Lovett from Essendon are more realistic and just as quick.

Hang on - so you're happy to take on a girlfriend beating stalker in Lovett, but woldn't touch Kerr for his assualt on a cabbie

        How does that work??

He can play and is very quick.

Id love Wocjinski but aint got a hope in hell of getting him. While Im not happy with Kerr's past, if he turned up at the swans I for one wouldnt complain. He has everything we are desperately seeking ina midfielr. There is no way unless ROK and possibly someone else goes in a multi facet trade that we could afford him though with what the Druggos want for him though.

I would have a real issue with getting him. He has a history of trouble on and off field, and he would come at a very high cost.

You could draw parallels with the discipline history of Hall and Lockett on field, but neither of them had the same record off it, and they were both very eager to move to Sydney.

Lockett in particular came at a quite low price and though Hall cost us three picks, they weren't as valuable as they are now.

I think we do need a quality midfielder, but I would rather not have one than make the sacrifices needed to get Kerr.

Drugs and sport are a dangerous combination that go to the heart of the sports integrity. Lovett's criminality as bad as it does not.

Nothing wrong with Ketamine....if you are a horse.

That's hypocrisy of the highest order. I usually let it go when you crap on about Bevan but in this case, pull your head in.

You can't advocate one of these guys being OK and entitled to an opportunity with the Swans, and then say the other is not. There is no difference between the two as far as I can see. The only difference is that Kerr is a better, proven player.

FWIW, I say go get Kerr!

What do recreational drugs have to do with sports integrity any more so than domestic violence?

Recruiting Kerr would be very dumb. Let's hope it doesn't happen.

It wouldn't be dumb recruiting Kerr, what would be dumb is the 2 top 10 draft picks wanted for him. Too much of a sacrifice.

Get him. Then when he has a bad game I will be able to use the line "Paul's Kerr".
