09 Membership Packs

My league supporting co-workers have said the reason we are receiving scarves this year as part of our membership is because we will all feel like necking ourselves by season end.

Very cruel but it wont be Roos' fault.

Still waiting for my pack but no rush. I do like the look of those new ribbed scarves but if I'm getting a freeby (in lieu of membership fees), I might have to hold off and accept what I get.

My bomber mate didn't come to the game....his membership pack wasn't there by Friday night....he will be asking for refund. He's spewing.....not only getting robbed by the tune of $460 but no seat change or ticket.

Did he ring the club? We still haven't got our memberships but the club gave us tickets for last night and told us to call them again if it doesn't arrive this week.

I don't know if he rang the club or not but his pack wasn't there by Friday night....too late to ring anyone. It seems that the packs went out in alphabetical order....S.... thats his name but he feels like he has been treated like @@@@. After all, his money was grabbed by the credit card mob last year....not good enough. And the board was quite happy to do some internal undemocratic shuffling at the AGM held at Club Swans!!!!!!!! Wouldn't piss on them!

There is at least 3 emails telling all members to collect their tickets at the ground if they did not turn up. Surely he would ring the club and ask if he was concerned?????

Not everyone gets the emails these days.
The last email I received was mid 08.
I reckon the club should have called GKAK's Bomber mate.

I was under the impression that it was only members who joined from March on that would not receive their packs?

not likely whilst they remain an unelected oligarchy making heaps of mistakes that have cost the club memberships....my Kiwi mate walked away....I took him to 1996 GF....he dropped his 4 memberships....too expensive. And they have restricted Kick to kick...would not put it on after the Hawks game etc. There are many other issues.....how about the $6.30 for a plastic cup of beer! And they instruct Ticketek to sell all the expensive seats first.....I'd rather see 20,000 kids in the upper stands on $10 tickets than this constsant gouging that they go on with this bunch of clowns running the rort.

This was because there was a NRL game scheduled for the ground for the Sunday. When the weather is fine and there is no other scheduled game coming up, they are usually pretty good at Homebush about Kick-to-kick - in fact they offered it long before the SCG gave it the thumbs up.

Don't forget as well that kick-to-kick doesn't happen in Melbourne anymore due to the amount of games they play on the 2 grounds that are used....

Fair enough for the membership prices but I doubt they have any say whatsoever in the price of catering or whether there is kick-to-kick.

I have also never had a problem specifying the ticket category I want to buy. You know, I don't think I have ever seen you EVER respond sensibly to a post countering your arguments, or admit you might have been wrong about something. I understand you seem to have some sort of hatred of the club administration, but it's getting a bit old...

I think the greater reason for no kick-to-kick after some evening games is because of dew or wet conditions. The AFL or venue would not want to be dealing with any litigation resulting from someone slipping and hurting themselves on the field.
