According to that story from the Legs' site:

"Taylor Walker has a touch of class no doubt, 9 goals in any game of football is an outstanding effort.."

And he kicked a goal against the Dons yesterday too.

The URL from the Norwood site has reports08 in it. So I'm pretty sure that's from last year. Walker has played every Adelaide game this year.

It's rare enough that Norwood actually win a game, let alone beat the Eagles, Seems they've flogged them two years in a row on the same weekend - last year by 51 points, this year by 75 points.

One of the problems is the Tiser, mean-minded Murdoch monopoly that they are, no longer gives games scores and stats. The SANFL site actually has Norwood winning by 45 points...

Here's the match report. Sam Rowe kicked four.

For SANFL nuts, Sturt smashed Centrals today by 85 points to go top.

Little Willo clearly is a late bloomer. First time over the last 2 years (perhaps ever) that he's been named in Glenelg's best players (in their league side). Good on 'im.

Not to mention the suddenly-wonderful Norwood side, who had to cover for the fact that Stephen Doyle was out injured. Quelle surprise.

After Flipper and Terlich had both endured calls for their heads over mediocre form, they picked the right day to both step up-- and kick straight in a game where Sam Rowe kicked 4 points in a single quarter! 'Twas blowing a gale down at Antarctic Park down in the far south of Adelaide, and South were 6 goals up before Norwood finally realised that they were meant to kick into the wind in the first quarter. Fair comeback win, in the face of appalling kicking for goal, after that.

Little Willo has finally hit that rich vein of form we've all been awaiting. Only about 4 years too late.

And don't book those October tix too soon floppinab. A week after rolling reigning premiers and competition uberlords Centrals by 85 points, Sturt themselves got knocked off the top, losing by a cool 89 points to North! Weird comp this year.

You may want to hold off a little, at least until after the preliminary final has been played:

                      Sturt 8.6.54
                      Glenelg 14.12.96

A 42 point smashing by the mighty Bays!!

Anyone who supported Glenelg through the late 60s, 70's and 80's knows all to well the need to speak very cautiously about Glenelg's premiership chances. Glenelg must surely hold an Australian record for the highest ratio of losing grand finals. At the moment I'm just enjoying seeing them on top of the SANFL ladder.
