However, Sydney didn't just fall over the line against this weakened outfit, they smacked them by more than 6 goals.

If Sydney won by a point, the Hawks could feel unlucky, but if they're hanging there hat on a 38 point loss on injuries, they are kidding themselves.
    Bloody good point!

It wasn't the prettiest of matches, but congrats on rolling them, when most had the Swans written off (pointing to self). Surely Connolly is back this week to comment?

Was it actually not that pretty? Obviously it's ace when you're team wins so you delude yourself at times into thinking it was a good spectacle, but I thought it actually was a pretty entertaining game to watch- and as Sydney fans we know what winning ugly looks like!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

The hawks also missed some relatively easy shots at crucial times.
And buddy tried to take the bull by the horns, but I think it only worked once, maybe twice.

I agree that Crouch looked like he was struggling but Bevan was a solid contributor. Regardless of different opinions of their games, there was no-one playing in the early game with any hope of doing any better in the short term.
I really don't think Crouchy struggled. Go and watch the third quarter again.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

OH WHAT A GAME!!! My voice still hasn't recovered.

So what if they were undermanned. I'll take that win any day of the week!

Jolly - was awesome, BOG without a doubt.

White - played well as his back-up.

LRT - Great 100th game. One of the best I've seen from him.

              Goodesy & BBBH were brilliant.

Meredith had a great 1st game(hopefully many more to come)

B2 - kept Buddy quiet all night.

Shaw - could not get over how quick he is.

Summary - Started slow as per usual (thought we were going to get thrashed at one stage). Worked back into the game in the 2nd quarter then dominated the 3rd to get right on top. 4th quarter stayed on top and buryed them.

And incredibly we finished ahead in the free kick count despite them getting at least 3 or 4 that were @@@@.

Now I only hope we can build on that performance.

              In closing

              SYDNEY!! SYDNEY!! !!!
              Red & White forever.
