      Barlow sucks... damn it!

I liked the consistency of tonights game - Barlow touches the ball, leads to a Brisbane goal within 1-2 minutes.

Ok so if its not enough for us to loose, someone ruins the result for people in Melbourne watching the Carlton Vs Essendon game

                  thanks for that

I switched channels (I love my Foxtel) to watch the Bombers defeat the arrogant tanker Blues by 3 pts in a thriller in front of 70,000 at the G. That'll shut up the likes of Walls this week.

I hate it when commentators talk up our wet weather play - we always fall in a heap. No intensity, no desire, no luck, sometimes no brain - sheesh. Teddy gives a sloppy hand pass on the half back line and the lions score. Barlow fumbles a receive and the lions score. Various other similar scenarios result in the lions scoring. From the 2 minute mark they looked more able to handle the conditions and continued to do so for the rest of the night. Sigh. There's always next week.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

Goodes - had his best game this season.
Richards - did a great job on Brown
LRT - shocker... improved slightly in the second half... slightly
Meredith - I have high hopes for him... playing very well
Hall - good game for an injured player
Shaw - great at getting the ball - hit and miss on disposals... but generally a good game from him
Jolley... best for us. Great game
                            Barlow... @%&$#!!
                            White - moments of brilliance!
Moore - average game... some crap disposals

can't think of any more... I might be back.

Hall seems to have done a hamstring now judging by the ice. Either that or his groin has dropped down the back of his leg.

I thought Cream Cheese and the Tin Man (LRT) didn't have good games tonight.

The others were OK except for playing dry footy in wet weather.

There is no one to come in. Not much you can do but accept and support our team and pray for miracles.

Meredith was outstanding. Vez will come back soon and I think our young group will continue to develop but it might be a long year.

Shaw has been a good addition to our team.

                              THEMS THE BREAKS !

See you at the SCG next Saturday arvo. How exciting to have a Saturday afternoon game. My Body clock will get all confused.

                                That was an odd game.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
