    Reserves v Ainslie

    Match starts at 10.50 am

    Ainslie are 4th with a 1-1 record.
Swans are last (6th) with a 0-2 record.

By my calculations we have the following players available:
    • Dan Hannebery (saw him in training footage from midweek)
    • Dan O'Keefe
    • Dan Currie
    • Micky O (apparently restricted to 30 min)
    • Luke Ablett
    • Lewis Johnston (but I heard from a second hand source that he did injured his foot? Anyone know more?)
    • Ryan Brabazon
    • Mike Pyke
    • Matt O'Dwyer
    • Jake Orreal
    • Taylor Gilchrist

    with the following players possibles:
    • Matt Laidlaw
    • Amon Buchanan
    • Nick Smith

plus a couple of scholarship players (Nathan Gordon, Jay Lewis and Ryan Bottin-Noonan are the usual suspects)

We're going to have to find a key defender to take on their star forward, former Kangaroo Ben Hughes.

    I'll take some photos tomorrow.

Hopefully Johnston is playing so we can get him attempting marks etc.

Don't think RBN is available at the moment. The RAMS seem to be playing some invitational matches against TAC Cup sides as part of the warm-up for the National Championships. Don't know if they are on every weekend but I think they've played a couple already.

No fixture for the RAMS this week according to the TAC Cup site.

              Qtr time

              Swans 5.2 32
              Ainslie 2.3 15

              Laidlaw 2 Buchanan Lewis Gilchrist

Great goal by scholarship player Lewis has terrific pace. Buchanan the standout Laidlaw very good up forward Pyke and Orreal's tapwork is giving the mids the advantage. No ablett in this game but other two emgs are playing

Laidlaw scoring goals is good. If he can have a good game maybe he can get in instead of Barlow.

Laidlaw 3 Buchanan hannebery 2 lewis gilchrist
                    Swans 9.7 61
                    Ainslie 4.3 27

Hannebery is mr cool so balanced and superb left foot. Gilchrist has an elusive swerve and a big kick on him. Buchanan too strong in the middle Gordon has found a lot of the ball and Brabazon has butchered every single kick. Pykes ruckwork is good but has absolutely no awareness

Just saw Johnston hobbling about on the sidelines

Wait, mate is Pyke, Braba, or Ablett playing. It would give us a clue as to whether Hall is out or not.

                            Only ablett is not playing

Micky has had three marks inside 50. Passed off one oobotf next and one behind

Ok thanks mate. Hall should play then. Ablett is out prob due to his gluteus maximus.
