One of the worst efforts I have seen from the swans in years and we are in front!!!! We have no ball winners as yet, Mcviegh (exccept the last 2 mins) and Goodes are a sleep Carlton should be flogging us, Carlton can only blame themselves should be atleast 5 goals in front.

Its been a game of who makes the least mistakes and for the second quarter the Swans were cleaner and sharper in attack.

Brilliant tap by Jolly to McVeigh for his second goal.
Haven't seen that since a couple of finals in 2005

Poor 1st quarter. better 2nd quarter particularly late, but can they keep it up.
Thank god Carlton have been so inacurate at goal our we'd be down by 5 or more goals.

Barlow should be back in the 2's next week after his brain fade in the 2nd quarter. he was fortunate that Fev put it OOTF.
                Red & White forever.

Swans really lifted intensity in the 2nd Qtr. Pressure as Carlton went forward.
We must keep the pressure up.
Interesting to see how our younger group finish out the running against Carltons fleet of No. 1 Choices.

Hopefully our hard tackling will slow their run.

Ablett has been fantastic, Meredith pretty good when finding the ball, Mattner a much better performance, Thorton, first kick first goal, and Goodes has been effective when he has got the ball BUT needs to step up in the second half. McVeigh has been very good as well. Barlow kicked a good goal but needs to some how stop these brain farts. Hopefully we can keep it up and get over the line

Not sure why some of you assuming they should be 5 goals up. If any of those points were goals, the ball goes back in the middle and then who knows what the next play would be.

It's like a ghost town in here. Did we fall apart in the 3rd or something?

Talk about letting them back into the game. Why would McVeigh do an obvious hold on Judd? Let himself down badly. Mattner, that was a dumb handball. Just boot the b thing.
