Has the one thinge we have lacked for a while, genuine dash and line breaking ability.

Working hard on his decision making and disposal and to this point in time is looking fantstic off HBF.

I thought it was a bad move getting him but he's doing very well.

Doing ok. If we could just get him to place kick more effectively he would be a gem. But its been a problem of his forever.

From an early age, we are taught to hate the Shaws. Yet here we are with one in our midst, amongst our best players. This Shaw is a particularly ugly and hairy one too.

It feels good, but unclean too. Like when you squeeze a painful pimple - it hurts but is satisfying at the same time.

I don't know...it's all so new and different.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

            Agree.
A few of us have seen his pace recently and now he used his pace to break the defense 50m line consistently, just about the whole game Vs Blue.
Surely, kick-in set play out and out-of-defence 50m through the middle and the side can be built around him and other faster runners.

I saw Tony Ongarello place kick at the old Brunswick St oval in the 50s...not pretty! But prettier than his punts. Didn't realise that Shaw had the placie in his otherwise talented repertoire!

The word 'pustule' came to mind but seemed a bit harsh, so Ii settled on pimple.

'"Pustule - small elevation of the skin containing purulent material usually consisting of necrotic inflammatory cells." If he still played for Collingwood, I would not have hesitated.

His brother, however, is pustule like.

Sydney has done very well with its recruiting from Collingwood over the last ten years. Not being from Melbourne myself, I wasnt brought up to hate Collingwood (but I understand it, as anyone who knows my opinion of Port would know) and I am actually grateful to Collingwood for trading genuine talent such as Williams, Schauble, Davis and Shaw to Sydney.

I think the Collingwood hatred comes naturally, I have no former AFL links in my family, yet I think of them as scum (media intervention perhaps?). Pick of the season so far

                          Better than Irish

Somebody said it...he gives us more run that Tad did in his final year as he was #$%^ by then. I think at this stage of the season ,this is true.He looks great! Just what we need and he sets the backline on fire.I feel LRT's good form is exuberence driven by Shaw and the great Marty Mattners run.

I agree, for once there is a consistant player for him to work with. Irish just not a regular in the team in the end...making for LRT to be clueless what part to play.
I am struggling to see Leapin Leo back in the team...
