                2009 is looking increasingly like the end for Luke Ablett. Can't get a gig ahead of Thornton and Meredith, in an injury-damaged squad where the likes of Bird and Veszpremi also aren't in contention.

                The only person who I can think of in the last 5 years or so who broke the cast-iron rule, 'If you're mid-20s or older and can't get a regular firsts game when playing, you're delisted' was Nic Fosdike. And it turned out he was gone anyway.

                Not a surprise that it's my view (that he's probably not in our best 22), but a surprise that the Swans share it.

                                        Richo is flying mentally apparently but has an arse twinge. Its important that we don't have to double team him and therefore able to leave an attacking extra defender, probably Ted, to cut off the inevitable grubbers, mongrel punts, misdirected buzz bombs and Hail Mary's that will be sent in all directions out of the softest and most unskillful midfield in the comp. Who is the best man for this job? LRT - all hair and heart or B2 who will slip onto him like a glove. Would love to see the Moose just run staight at him and test out "Mr Hey What About Me"'s confidence and the twinge.
