    Thank You Channel 7

Channel 7 - where the AFL comes second. Checking the guide I see that teh Swans are on Channel 7 today from 3pm-5pm. Thank you... As I no longer live in Sydney I can't get to the game. So what will they do? Do I see an abridged first 2 quarters and live last two quarters or do I see an edited game altogether. And of course channel 7 have not got their degital channel up and running and I don't have Foxtel (not that I can get it - here it is Austar)

Actually looking at teh Seven HD they have the AFL Game Day how at 10, So why can the not show the full AFL on there?

What's worse is that it is not the Swans Richmond at 3pm.

I really sympathise with you there.

It is really unbelievable that you can't watch all 8 games live each week without paying for it. Its not unbelieavable given there are only 5 channels, but really there should be more channels.

I'm lucky to have Fox and frankly couldn't do without seeing 4 or 5 games a week and watching AFL Teams, On the Couch etc. Also being able to see replays of each goal rather than an ad break is a big plus.

I especially can't believe how rugby league fans put up with only 1 (now 2) games on Friday and a delayed game on Sunday. What a joke.

With the thugby League the only game that is live on the free to air channels is the Friday night game. To actually see any games on Saturday you have to have Foxtel or Austar.

I live in Canberra so I see the game at 3 pm. What I don't get is that doesn't Prime and Ten have an agreement where they each have to show one live game a week. Prime hasn't showed a live game for the last few weeks. I hope that the AFL reconsiders which channel to sign with next year. Absolutely rubbish.

CH. 7 Replay of Richmond game.

What was that sorry excuse for a coverage of the game on Sunday. Besides delaying it for 2 hours for car racing the first quarter showed a few highlights only, and who were those carisma challanged commentators. It would have turned any prospective AFL viewers off for good.

I taped the game ... the friggin car racing didn't finish until 20 past 3.

              Slack as.

I also IQ'd the game live from Fox.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

                    Yep. Pigs it is.
Do Channel Seven actively hate AFL so much they would spend millions on insisting on their right to show it and then muck it up so much that it is worthless piece of c**p! And why have a comentator who has no bleeding idea! I am sure there is a retired footballer out there who would like a couple of dollars to talk about the game with some appearance of interest.

I feel so sorry for all of you out there who don't have the benefit of a friend with Foxtel.

It was horrible last year, and this year is almost a joke, but I am not laughing.

                      Have to.

The DVD recorder is upstairs in my bedroom; and the IQ is downstairs.

Channel Seven here had the Geelong game on. I don't think I've seen Sydney since round 2.

I watch the whole game from 10:30am till 1:30 courtesy of Australian Network/ABC Sports lounge here in Thailand. Ads only at Quarter and half time. Nice BBQ at half time on the balcony and a swim and massage after the game! Now that's living!

So what you're saying is, the coverage in Sydney is worse then what it is in Thailand. Now that's something I'm sure was in the broadcasting deal.

(Not to diss your day Hartijon, just imagining there'd be more viewers in Sydney then Thailand).
