Mighty Bloods! Back in the 8 and a boost to the percentage! GO SWANNIES!!
"Notwithstanding the sight of all our miseries, which press upon us and take us by the throat, we have an instinct which we cannot repress, and which lifts us up." - Pascal
Good win.
What a frustration Grundy is...great mark...but don't make him chase the ball with anyone under 50 as happened a couple of times today. I still say it is not on to have both him & LRT on the backline at the same time.
Malceski better today but seems to have lost his kicking excellence & perhaps a tad slower.
Great to see Crouch contribute well.
Jude has made a "comeback" that i did not envisage a couple of years ago.
A good win, but after Q1 our ball our forward entries were haphazard. We should have kicked another five goals.
Great to see Hall in such good touch again, Buchanan really broke the lines, Malceski played with a lot of confidence. White did everything you'd want a second ruckman to do and you'd have to expect he'll hold his place for some time.
Otherwise, the usual suspects - Jolly, Kirk, McVeigh, Jude - showed the way.
Grundy did a lot of good things, but he does take wrong options, and his kicking is a bit suspect. Jack's disposal was atrocious.
Has to be a question mark over Ablett - made a lot of minor clangers and apart from a goal assist to ROK I couldn't see he made a contribution at all.
The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible news

I think this can be put down to the rise of McVeigh who seems to be carrying the tag that Bolton often got.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
We're on equal third only losing by percentage, meet the dogs next week who sits on third. Hope we carry on with the way we play onto next week against the dogs.
Was convinced at quarter time that OUR Swans had been kidnapped by aliens and replaced by some freakily skilfull changelings. Came back down to earth after quarter time, with some far more comfortably familiar wasted opportunities at goal, but there was still an awful lot of excellent football played by the Swans to create those misses. Has to be said though, Port were woeful. Is there another team in the competition where the gap between their best and worst is so wide?
Oh, and when was the last time we saw an absolute screamer of a mark from a Swan? I am struggling to remember. And then we go and get not just one, but two in the same afternoon. Not to mention those two back to back low down marks from Mick and Goodsey.
