Yes, you called it corectly. That was my final impression of that great mark within the 2 minutes time-frame. It is negated by immediate poor kick. I have a distinct feeling that more of Grundy mid-distance kicks are ordinary in recent matches, even allowing percentage of mistakes, let alone his glaring weakness in defence as well.

He sure need to put 100% more hours in kicking accuracy training and someone to train him better in defence. Otherwise, his spectacular grab comes to nought.

3 excellent marks to choose from, all very similar.
Will be a tight run race me thinks.

Jolls stands 196 cm I believe, and I think this game might bring an end to the great Reg debate, he arrived in a big way in this game, and the confidence he should take from that perfrmance might take him somewhere. Play senior footy learn senior footy

Well according to perpetual Swans/Roos hater Robert "Tossbag" Walls on One Week At A Time tonight, Lovett-Murrays was a better mark cause of his hang time. So that's who he gave it to.

Steve Quartermaine couldn't believe it. He already called Reg's as the best this year so far.

Matthew Lloyd chimed in with "It was more difficult" too. Wanker.

I guess that's what we can expect from a show which is basically a Bomber love-fest...

Lloyd is such a waste of space on that show. Harley and Richo are way more interesting than Mr. Shiny Shoes. Walls again trotted out his usual solution to fixing a struggling key forward - throw him in the ruck

FWIW, IMO I also thought Lovett-Murray's was better, it was a little more aesthetically pleasing. Although if you think about it, jumping over Jolly, Grundy would have gotten way higher than NLM.

Walls also waxed lyrical about Michael Gardiner's game on the weekend. What is it with this guy and ruckmen?

I agree with him about Ablett not attending the games to support his team-mates when he was injured though. Doesn't matter if he's the best player in the AFL, he still should be there instead of surfing with his mates.

Looks like it's all our fault that he stuffed up. From Real Footy article today.....
"Yeah, it was pretty ordinary wasn't it?" Grundy said of the kick which followed. "Straight over Shawy's [Rhyce Shaw's] head and out of bounds. I think I stuffed up a couple of touches after that.

"The crowd was quite loud and I just tried to get rid of the footy as quick as I could."

I'm surprised he is not used to that section of the crowd in front of the Brewongle.

Big hanger, great goal, super tackle, 10 goal win, 10 goal loss, it doesn't matter to them, they're clapping and screaming all the way.
