2nd quarter fadeout - again! Third time in a row against the Bullies. At least we're consistent in that regard.

Are there 2 LRT's?
Today was dreadful...somedays he manages to overcome his lack of pure skills to an admirable degree e.g. 2005 Grand Final...& he has played many fine games since...but too often he plays like he doesn't belong. It is such occasions when I get greyer at the very thought of 2 low skill (i.e. LRT / Grundy) lumberers on the backline at least some of the time together,
Throw in Shaw on an off day, Bevan off & on, & Mattner who often is Barryesque with his decision making / kicking & our back line can look awful, especially when the mid field can't get a kick. How does Ablett EVER get in the team not to mention midfield?
Well done Goodsy, Barry, Ryan, Captain Kirk & Crouchy...the rest???Comment

The old story. We fell asleep for a quarter and got walloped.
I think the game is more revealing about where the Dogs are than the Swans. They're the prime challenger to the Cats and Saints.
The Swans are competitive when they're on, but they're still learning how to play four quarters. The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

I cant remember a 1st half flogging of that magnitude.
But, how good is Goodes....
3 points thanks sir.He ate more cheese, than time allowedComment

It would take a miracle to beat the hawks at the G next week.

I too left the pub at half time, what a @@@@en disgraceful effort, geez I havent been that disappointed in the team for a long time! Big deal, so we made the score look respectable after half time. That loss has had us tumble out of the 8 and with hawks, pies and crows to come, dare I say it but it could be curtains for 09!It would take a miracle to beat the hawks at the G next week.

Don't panic just yet, we did the same thing against the same team twice last year.
We're every chance of beating Hawthorn, which is almost a must win now.Comment

Let's sack all the @@@@ players and then give all the good players to better teams and then we can cheer for...
Frustration is frustrating, but that's all it is...Comment

I know we made a lot of errors etc, but give me some of what you are on! The only positives we can take out of that was good performances by a few (Big Bad Crazy Barry, Goodes, O'keefe, a couple of others) and that we kept fighting on in the 2nd half and made it respectable. I can't see many other positives to come out of being soundly beaten, and on the back of such terrible skill errors across the 1st half
We are as there-or-there-abouts as we have ever been. The only problem we have is within our control (ok, within their control). A game without our stupidity is a game where other teams don't have much hope. A bit of stupidity gives them hope. Too much stupidity and we lose (be it by a bit or a massive margin).
It seems to me that it's a game of hope (as a supporter). I hope that, each week, we don't do too many stupid things.Comment

Now I'm sad. What a bizarre comment! Deserves to be elsewhere! How does team sport sound? How did you notice he was that good? Was it in the team he currently plays for? 2 Brownlows mean anything? In a @@@@ team? That does't do him justice?
