Kicking two goals from one shot is impressive.

no way hall was our worst today - over the top to say he lost us the game, even more to say we should sack him

It's RWO, it's normal for us to call for their heads when we lose games.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

He was far from our worst, BUT considering his record and his seniority he made a majorly pathetic contribution to this loss!!!!

If Hall plays I'm not going to collingwood game.

I'm not going to watch the swine and put my kids at risk of catching the swine!

I was a big fan of his but he has lost the plot. Shame the replacement is injured for year because I'd play him for the rest of the year and let Bozo Barry play in Canberra.

Bevan was rubbish, worse than usual. He is a bloddy pet of Roosy and for that reason probably won't get dropped. Malceski improved a bit in the second and so did Grundy (though still rubbish). Im mixed on Hall. Gets sh** against him week in week out but his attitude needs to be addressed cauz he cost us the game in the end. Goodes gets the three votes IMO and thats the only positive to take out of the game. Amazingly im not as angry as I thought I would have been. We need to beat Collingwood in a couple of weeks to redeem this loss.

I totally agree. The bloke has just lost the plot now. He isn't the only one in the AFL who gets a raw deal from the umps. But he's the only one who feels the need to carry on like a 6 year old who has just dropped his ice cream.

We were 3 points down when the free kick was paid against him. If he just had of kept his cool we were still a massive chance. But instead he carried on like a sad little soul. Idiot.

Somebody shoot me now...I hate Hawthorn with a passion and all those bozos on the Tassie Hawks bandwagon will have great joy ingiving it to me

"Can't even beat our reserves side ..blah blah blah"
They are just such a cocky bunch of dickhead supporters. I want to smash their faces in but no I'll smile and say "Oh weren't you wonderful and doesn't it make you a better person than I to barrack for Hawthorn..that team for which you let your membership lapse when they were losing..yea great you arsewipes"

                      I hate Hawthorn

                        • Our skills are deplorable.
                        • Our kick-ins are deporable.
                        • We haven't settled into the new game plan, causing plenty of turnovers.
                        • We are carrying too many passengers at the moment, who are contributing little to the team. I'm sure we all want Malceski to return to his 2007 form, but it doesn't look like happening. Thornton was contributing way more during his time in the seniors.
                        • Our tackling isn't as impressive as the raw stats would seem to suggest. We fall away from too many tackles. A more pertinent stat would be tackle completion.
                        • We weren't helped by the umpires today, but we're not helping ourselves either with our defensive mindsets at the ball-ups at the beginning of games. How many times have we seen us charge back into games chasing deficits just because we had the gumption to go after the loose ball rather than trying to tie it back in.

I just wonder why it is always Goodes, Jude, Kirk and Craig Bolton that are consistent and keep us in there, why don't our young ones perform like other teams. I think what Hall did was stupid BUT the umpiring was crap and the free against Jolly was crap and the 50 metre penalty and how come when the Hawks were holding up play and questioning decisions we didn't get in 50 metres. I don't think we are good enough but I still think we have a chance of making the 8 'cos if you look at the next 11 weeks a lot of the teams going for the top 8 play each other 'cos there are still so many that can make it - even Freo

What Hall did was selfish. The umpiring was deplorable and Hall certainly misses out on his share of free kicks, but when has losing your cool reversed a decision?

If only we had 10 clones of Adam Goodes. He is a champion and without him, and the usual players everyone has named, we'd be nothing better than a bottom 4 side.

Very disappointing to realise that our skills, speed and decision-making are so poor. You kind of look at them playing and think "they're just not up to it".

Back a few years ago I always thought we were a chance in every game, now we just don't have that ability.

Yep, hit the nail on the head. That belief isn't there, and I sense the players feel the same way.

I just hope Goodes wins the Brownlow this year, to show a few doubters just how great he is even in quite an average side.
