Rekon the writings on the wall for Bazza.
The players have spoken on this and Roosy is the message boy here.
Skilts said it spot on this morning in todays press.
Its a shame, we will struggle without him, but whilst I have enjoyed his time at the Swans hes giving me the @@@@s now with his attitude and the players are getting jack of it now as well.
His footy is still Ok , though the brain has gone AWOL and he looks like he wants out as well. Getting sick of defending him at work every day now

But last year we had oloughlin available and in good form. This year he is hobbling to retirement.
We will be in for some beltings without him. Having said that it matters little as even with him we are so far off the standard set by geelong and st kilda that it wont hurt to give others a go.Comment

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Yeah, a guy called O'Loughlin was actually making a contribution then. Didn't beat any team of any quality either.
14 touches, 8 marks and 4 goals on the weekend - who's going to be able to fill his role?Bloods

Our other forwards have hardly stood up this year or shown the can kick 30-40 goals next year Bazza has 31 then after that Goodes 21 Jolly 12 McVeigh 10 and jack 9
Bazza is the only forward we have that has kicked more than 10 goals
I like the idea of White forward but he is a few years off as is johnston i think we will struggle to kick a score next year without Baz and could end up right down the bottom of the ladder without a good draft pickComment

Nup.
He's our premiership captain.
To ask him to retire and end his career in that way is just wrong.
It should all be kept in house and discussed there privately.
If he decides that it is time to go based on the clubs discontent with his actions, then so be it.
But he should leave the club a champion with all the bells and whistles due.The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.Comment

Heard the interview on SEN. Hall said the work 'retire' at least 20 times in 2 minutes. Difficult to form any other conclusion other than Roos wants Hall to retire. I wonder what is in his contract about punching people? He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.Comment
