Spot on skippy. The decision to play only one ruckman could have been disasterous. Also Hale kicked your boys out of it. He beat Bolton (not allowed to say that) pointless with ten marks and should have kicked three in the first quarter. Poor old Bevo is getting a bollocking and he beat his opponent. Imagine if we had lost good sport?..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. It seemed to me that no one up forward knew what they were doing so EVERYONE was going up for the ball, spoiling each other, no one was crumbing. It was Auskick.
It was crazy congo. At least with Baz up there he would have yelled at everyone to get out of the way.
I'm still surprised we kicked a winning score. Thank god for Shaw and The Birdman.Comment

Our forward line is 1 dimensional and predictable with Barry there. Everyone kicks to him even when he is triple teamed and we get found out against the good teams.
I think we need to restructure the forward line around mulitple focal points and don't think the loss of Hall will be the disaster that everyone thinks.
People have mentioned the long bombs against the kangas. Hall wouldn't have been able to mark them anyway as he is a lead up forward. When was the last time he took a big pack mark?
The long bombs probably would have got him frustrated and he would have tonked someone!!!Comment

It should be noted that the junior umpire was the one blindly giving frees to the wrong team (us) and he was puzzlingly wrong about four times! The fourth q was interesting as the bigger boys must have had a word to him. He turned. Still not acceptable. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I reckon it was fine against Adelaide, Hawthorn and Collingwood too, we just weren't good enough in other areas to win any of those games.Bloods

From year to year the Swans have a habit of making it a tight contest regardless of where our opposition are at. We played well against the Pies and Crows and we have the Dees coming up and I bet we won't smash them. It's as if the Swans focus on who the opposition is and play accordingly. We rarely get smashed and we also rarely blow other teams out of the water.

Pratt got a week for his smack on Malceski see here.
If anyone saw the replay this was a very very very long shot....
Pratt told the hearing he threw back his arm that caught Malceski in the midriff in a bid to shrug off the Swans player so he could regain his feet to take a free kick. "I was trying to get him off me, there was no intention of malice," Pratt said.Comment

People who bag Jude have absolutely no idea about footy.
Well done to Crouch too, he played a ripper.Comment
