My reaction was initially you were right, apart from the last few years. But I've done a bit more research looking at picks 7 from the drafts 2001 onwards it also includes names like Palmer, Mackie, Ryder and Hale. But go back to 2000 and you'll find the name of Laurence Angwin, and before that Danny Roach.
All in all, looks like pick 7 might be the one to have. Pick 6 certainly has some duds in there. Remember the hype around Kepler Bradley?!!Comment

SoRry, but after the last couple of weeks, and other results going our way, I need to bring this thread back onto the front page. Can the swans still make the finals???? To quote Shawn Michael Michaels(Will Ferrell in Blades of Glory)..."the team of Sydney Swans are like a freight train from hell and we're gonna go straight up the ass of the competition, WHOOOOAAAA!!!!!!".Comment

Beat Geelong this week, and I think we'll be in 8th spot by then end of the weekend.
And, Geelong are "gone". 2 long season have caught up with them. We are a chance at ANZ.
And once you are in the 8, your destiny is in your hands.
I havent been here for a while, so slightly off topic, but Kieren Jack will become one the elite of the competition in a few years. Mark my words.Comment
