Like I have said before - Twerp.

But at least the Twerp umpired for us instead of his usual stance. Back to normal next week I suspect.

Come on Swans lets do it again next week for Goodesy's 250th.
      I'll be there early. I can't wait.
Make sure we get our rumps there early and support the ressies also!!!! They need to rack up a win to get a sniff of finals fever !!
LRT was very good today, read one passage of play superbly and darted through between 2 hapless Tigers to snatch the pill and drive us forward.
Hanners will be a star for us in coming years. And Jack who is already approaching 50 games has adopted a true Blood approach to all facets of his game!

I couldn't have said it better. His palming at ruck contests is actually often extremely good. His general play and kicking and handpassing skills will improve over time.

What a story! He has been a definite success so far, all things considered.

              Great win boys.

              Goodesy was on fire.

Kieren Jack was brilliant. Just have to say I don't know how he snuck that first goal through .

Magic was fantastic in his 300th. Great to see him get those 2 goals in the 3rd.

Hanneberry, MOD and Nick Smith showed me that we have some promise for the future.

Overall, a great performance all round.

And a great show of class & respect after the game with the Tigers presentation to Mick.

I'll also admit to tearing up a bit watching Magic lead the song in the shed.
              Well said.
Jack ran with Cousins for most of the day, and was far more effective than the Cuz.

At least he's probably not as disgusting as you.

(although I don't know why he can't get a jumper that fits him).

Was a great day at the G yesterday and a very late night with some very , very drunk and happy Swannies from over the border and down here.

                      Positives :

Micky O : To play a great game on his day and then win was just perfect.
Really gonna miss those silky skills and the love he has for the jumper.
Dan Hannebery : Luke Power all over. He will be a gun . Love his attitude, hes not scared about playing AFL and he looks like he belongs.
LRT : Wish people would relize , whilst he is one ugly unit he is an integral part of this side and we are better when he plays. Very important to us.
Adam Goodes : Exciting to think what he will can become now as a permanant forward. Hes our Superstar. Glad he plays for us.
Mike Pyke : Whilst I think he is a work in progress he was good yesterday and did some thing other than just tapwork.
Keiran Jack : One of his best games at the club.
Matty ODwyer: Very good in his first turnout for 09. Lets hope he can perform against better opposition next week though.
Nick Smith : Really like how he is coming along. Will be a 200 player.

                      Negatives :

                      Watching Richmond !!

Really hope we can give Geelong a run next week.
How I would love for that game to be at theSCG though.

                        Wow.
                        Top job.
Inaccuracy at goal cost us percentage points.
Percentage points have become important at this stage of the season.
There are some boys out there who will be fighting for spots next year.
Ablett and Barlow to name two. B1 is in negotiation ... maybe he'll just keep playing well until they sign him up again - hope not, he's been in great form.

PS. Geez I hate that tosser ex-junkie. Prouncing around like if he was any more up himself he'd be pregnant!! I almost broke my thongs throwing them at the TV yesterday!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Those having a go at Barlow, this was one bad game. His form recently has been fantastic. Given how much he has improved over the last couple of months, give him a break. Also, there's was a key difference between this bad game and his previous bad games: even though he won very little of the ball, he chased hard, tackled hard (5 tackles), and generally just put in effort all day. It didn't work for him, it just wasn't his day, but the intensity was there, which in previous games where he's gone missing, it hasn't been. He also ran very hard to kick his goal. And the thing I liked about that goal was the celebration afterwards: he gave a wry smile as he jogged back. He knew he'd had a dog of a day, but he didn't drop his head. He had a brief laugh at himself and got back into it.

I'm going to say it now, I'm a Barlow fan. I'm not completely convinced he's going to make it, but I want him to, because he's got talent, and he's showing a lot of improvement. He'll get another game next week, and hopefully he'll bounce back.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

OK, many good points here. I almost put him on hold again until I read this post, and I'll run with it. If Goodsy saw fit to reward his hard run with a handball over the top for a goal then that should be good enough for all of us. As pointed out above, he gave a grin and got on with it. Laconic to the max. I make no further comments until Round 1, 2010. Howzat.

Yeah, an ordinary game from Barlow this week. Hopefully next week is the up week.
As Roosy loves to say the young guys are going to be inconsistent for a while.
