There will be streams, just look around. Funny you should mention 2 inches of news space. There was 2 inches of news space in the local paper this week promoting the London Aussie rules grand final on Saturday. Pretty good considering the Fulham vs Chelsea derby is on this week too!Any chance of streaming ??? Thats so funny that you get it live
Now THAT is ridiculous! If anyone can find anyone who will be streaming the game live it would be much appreciated. What a way for NSW to promote AFL along with delayed telecasts on the weekend, the 2 inchs they give us in the Telegraph today is also a joke. So along with paying membership, buying digital tv, paying for foxtel sport chanels, increasing my download limit, I think next year I have to start special ordering the Sun.
5am start for the swans v pies for me!Comment

Ah yess, but we didn't have to wait 20 minutes at half time did we. Could have been a lot worse, and in the past it has been. In fact it was so patheticly amature in the recent past that it was embarressing. At least it wasn't that bad this time.
Some of the camera work has to be noted as well. The timing of close ups and long shots was pretty good. And here I was expecting the worst event on earth. I was disappointed I couldn't get totally aggressive. It was delayed. Other than that it could have been, and has been, a lot worse.
I have a feeling some of my spelling has come under the influence of white wine, so my apologies. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I'm guessing it was the same coverage that we got in Victoria, the whole game, just delayed by an hour.Does God believe in Atheists?Comment

This is a pretty good example of why you should learn the facts before posting.
Given the L.A.W. you can't telecast live on the 2nd channel unless you also do it on the first. A decent enough excuse?
Sorry to let the facts get in the way of another of ignorant rant."As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.Comment

Rude Bear Rude. But its the LIVE word that captures my interest as I have watched a number of programmes on the HD channels in the past that differed from the one shown on the first channel, as I think other R&Ws have as well. These are not LIVE shows.
I had not twigged that if the programme was a LIVE event then it had to be shown on both channels. Now we know with the help of your dulcet tones.

Yeah, I got that bit wrong. I knew the gist of the laws, but I didn't know they were so restrictive. I was under the impression (forgive me for not remembering quite how I came under this impression) that the standard channel simply had to show it at some point, while the second channel could show it live. I guess I was wrong, I can live with that. You, on the other hand...
So, because I happen to disagree with you on pretty much every point you've ever made, that makes me ignorant? I guess you're the fount of all knowledge? You're a perfect example of an armchair coach, constantly negative about those you take a disliking to (Grundy, Pyke, Bevan) without ever thinking that maybe they've got upside, maybe they've improved, maybe you're WRONG. I've given a few players a serve in my time, and both Grundy and Bevan were amongst them in a big way early last year. But I've also seen their improvement, and I've been happy to admit my mistake (though Bevo's gone backwards a bit this year, he's still doing OK).Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!Comment

Previously (maybe 3 - 4 weeks ago?) I was able to watch the AFL footy show live on 9HD at 9.30 and on 9 was the NRL live. The last couple of weeks I havent being able to watch AFL show until 11.30 as NRL is on both at the same time Live again. Have the rules changed or can someone tell me why
