Burgoyne deal far from done - AFL.com.au
Nice try by Williams given Burgoyne has made it clear he wants to get to a Melbourne club.

Either way, we're still looking at a win here. We at worst shuffle a couple of second round slots as part of the Seaby/Bucky/Dalziell deal.

And we either get pick 9 and Kennedy for Jolly (and maybe if we get a third rounder for Hall or Barlow or someone else it goes to the Hawks too).

Or we get pick 14 and someone like Dawes, who can play both forward and back up ruck.

So, at worst, we have two first round picks, preserve a second round, have at least one third round (and possibly two) and pick up Seaby and another 21yo (either Kennedy or Dawes).

    I'd take it.

Can certainly play forward but not in the ruck. Nowhere near big enough.

Not permanently agreed, but he gaves the Pies the odd patch here and there and given our depth in the ruck, may be needed now and then.

Why? His form has not been good, we have youngsters pushing for selection and somebody actually wanted him! sounds like perferct trade bait

Good news that the Monty/Seaby deal hasn't been finalised yet.

Hopefully that means we are holding fast on keeping pick 22 as I reckon it's over the odds for Seaby

He's shown enough to hold his place, but that's about it.

                  Thanks and see ya.

I kinda feel like a North Melbourne supporter would have felt in the 70's with all these proposed trade!

Could be a risk given an injury run, but Charman from the Lions would prob be behind Clark and Leuenberger now and is still only 27 so could get a few years out of him....I don't think we'd have to give up a whole lot to get him either...

Yep - now cited on the AFL website as 'official second deal of trade week' with details on draft picks and other stuff to be released soon.

Ah, it wouldn't be trade week if we didn't pay top dollar for a ruckman. Fun times.

If you think Buchanan is top dollar, hate to see what you think Jolly is going for?

Is that mortgaging the family jewels?

Any news anyone on what's going on with B.Hall? Is he going to the dogs, or can we use him in some kind of deal with the blues and Fevola??
