Didn't trading for the day end like 4 hours ago? Why is this the first we've heard of it?

Anyway, it isn't great, it does feel as though we've been fisted. But two top 15 picks is pretty good however you look at it.

So, that leaves us with picks 6, 14, 28, 38, 39, 46, 54.

Hoping for a little more, but that would indicate that Port and Hawks have put together a deal for Burgoyne so it was no use holding out on Collingwood and using the Hawks as a loaded gun.

Plus the fringe Pies players was obiviously not what Roos and the club wanted compared to Mumford and Kennedy so do the deal with the draft pick and use anything from picks 38, 39, 46 and 54 to get both of them.

That leaves us 3 picks in the top 30 for the young talent.

Possibily could leave a PSD draft selection for Luke Ball if he winds up in the PSD which is likely if Collingwood can't get a decent pick for Davis to statisfy St Kilda.

As previously said, we lost our No.1 ruckman but still managed to pick up two mid 20 year old replacements and keep pick 6 and 14. I am satisfied with that.

If we get Mumford for a 3rd rounder, we have essentially got pick 14 + Mumford for Jolly. I'm happy with that.

Kennedy for another 3rd rounder would be the icing on the cake. I wouldn't mind too much if we had to give up pick 28. Given our often left-field drafting, we may well get the same player at 38 as we would at 28.

With our room in the salary cap, surely there'll be someone else to follow in the PSD.

Now that is naughty Liz, but in this instance it's time to teach Whorthorn and Pelchan a lesson. But it did sound like that Kennedy is happy to stay if a deal can't be struck.

The Mumford deal should be looked at separately. Pick 14 alone is not what we should have received Pick 48 in this draft means nothing a player should have been involved. This morning on SEN Paul Connors (jolly mgr) saidd they tried to get pick 54 back from the SWANS. Perhaps we need a trader say like the Hawks Pelcen (i dont like his ways but he at least looks after the hawks.)

Hawthorn may miss out on their third big target in a row because of Pelchen's pigheadedness. Don't want my club behaving like that. At least the Swans get deals done.

I can understand why we would want Kennedy, a TAll midfielder would be very handy given we have JAck etc at 178cm

Why would we want McGlynn? Just another depth 174cm player - a Crouch replacement

If we can somehow nab Mumford and Kennedy and keep hold of the two first round draft picks I'll be relatively content with this trade week.

I was resigned to Jolly's departure and actually expected to be royally screwed (some sort of last minute 2 later draft picks deal), if we can turn the additional pick into Mumford or Kennedy then I'd be relatively okay with it.

Why? He barely gets anything done because he overrates his own players and underrates players from other clubs. He obviously thinks the whole idea of trade week is to shaft other clubs.

I reckon we are one of the few clubs that treat trade week the way it should be treated.

Forget Fev for a moment. Gaining Pick 14 and 46 are hardly going to turn it into a 'sensational' draft.

Yeah, in a draft where a lot of the top players have already been taken out, mid-range picks are not going to mean much.
