Burton's mark was a bit like a diver or gymnast scoring a 10 from the judges (assuming they're not crooked
) -- timed it to perfection. I'm not Mr Hyperbole but out of all the classic grabs, I don't think I've ever seen one as CLEAN as that with a leap that high! Definitely gets the car over Reg.

I still can't get the hype over chest marks - regardless of how high they are."It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I love the mark in the hands up high over the high chestmark too, but will never forget being there when Riewoldt ran full pelt under the ball into the pack at the SCG! Bravest mark I've ever seen.
But there are a couple of still pics floating around..one of John Dugdale of North taking a screamer over the full back..high with two hands reaching the sky..late 50s or early 60s, and another of South's Pratt taking a similar one...both absolutely awesome, and both standing on the full back's shoulders!Comment
