I vote based on my expectations of the player. Hanners ranks highly this year because he blew his expectations out of the water. Next year, I'll be expecting more from him. If he doesn't deliver consistently at this level, or show a higher level, I would rate him lower for that.10100111001 ;-)Comment

So funny. I still remember getting the SMS from Big Bad. "DAN HANNEBERRY (sp) IS A STAR"
Was on the golf course, and I thought wtf is he talking about.
Lets just hope the love child killer doesn't strike. There have been a few that Triple B has killed in the past, but this one looks the goods.
And until the draft is finished, you can't include Laidlaw, because I still firmly believe they will pick him up again ala Monty. If Laidlaw is not a better prospect than a kid at Pick 55, I'll give up going.
Some of my love children over the years:
Damien Angove
Rowan Warfe
Josh Thewlis
Mark Orchard
David McEwan
So there u go, just try and tell me I held any of those blokes back from being the stars they were.....
Seriously though, as u know my firm #1 love child was Wade Chapman and as discussed on this forum many times, what happened to that bloke would make the hardest man cry.
BTW, how about your lovechild, Mr Dempster. Enjoy his Bevo like performance in the GF?Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

What? 10 is the best season they could ever have and 1 the worst?
So say Teddy had a blinder and you gave him a 9. Goodes played a much better season than Ted but not his best would get maybe a 7.
or look at it another way,
all those giving Hanners a 9 this year, if he improves next year does he get a 10?
I want to vote using the same critieria as everyone else
For the games he played, IMO he played them exceptionally well (well, for a KID who's doing his VCE).
Goodesy always gets a 10.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Hey Annie, enough of Eggberry. I'm ready to ROK.The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

I vote on expectations vs what they achieved - therefore the players are rated against their own skills ... we expect a lot more from someone like Goodsey than someone like Hanners so it's impossible to compare their seasons directly due to many contributing factors!!Comment

Don't you mean "eggspectations?"If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Dr J, My cunning plan is to get him hypnotised into believing Alan Didak is his lovechild
Angove, must have been the family's product, guess Laidlaw must have something to do with HArd YakkaYou don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby ZieglerComment

What a find, and glad the club showed some balls and played the kid.
Wants the footy, looks like a footballer, isnt scared, just fits in.
Reminds me so much of Luke Power when he begun his career.
Cant wait to see how he evolves now that he will become full time.
A great positive that happened this year.Est 1874

7/10
Talented prospect despite having limited game time and training due to study commitments. He'll obviously have a greater impact in the midfield next year and I reckon he's an eggselent addition to the side.I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore
