Sorry - you were doing my head in with apparently disagreeing with each other while stating the same position.

How did Bolton 2 go against Bradshaw or did LRT take him? Did Teddy ever stand him? I seem to remember games when he was neutralised by our defense and cut off from supply by our midfield. Basically if we can get the ball down to him,put it in front of him he will get it and be deadly from anywhere up to the 50 metre line. His snapping under pressure is superb which will be a pleasant change from Moore's misses. There was no better example of the need for a good accurate crumber who can snap a goal than the GF whe Milne and Schneider could have but didn't snap goals. I think he also tends to wheel around and snap rather than handpass Barry Hall style but then Barry would have missed if he tried.

In 18 career games against Sydney, Bradshaw has kicked 25 goals and 20 behinds, his worst return by far against any opposition.

His reduced output also reflects the dominance we've had over the Lions of recent times.

Hence his respect for Sydney as a team! Thanks for that. I never remember him taking us apart but I have seen him play great games against others.

He Kicked 4 against us in Brisbane early this year. That was probably his best return against us?

Will the other clubs with drafts prior to ours now just let us have him, now that he has clearly stated his preference?

5 in round 3 2008 at the Gabba. Kicked half of Brisbane's goals and regularly out bodied Leo Barry to take contested marks.

I am feeling positive about his inclusion for 2010.

                            The chances are about 1%.

He has choosen us, wants to move his family to Sydney, the other clubs with earlier picks are set on youth, Luke Ball is still in play and most of all we have the largest amount of cap space to front load his contract so no one earlier can even dream of matching it.

In fact based on the above. take that down to a 0.1% chance of anyone else taking him before us.

I don't think there is an unwritten rule, per se. But if another club was interested in his services at the kind of $ and contract length that Sydney and Carlton were interested in him at, you'd think they would have spoken to his manager already.

It has happened before, but it typically ends very badly for every party. Plus 'poaching' a player in those circumstances does the club image no good when it comes to trading and drafts, and can upset the playing group in general.

In short, not worth the hassle for another club to jump in the water.
