'So much hope' - hardly. No-one has stated that he's going to take us to a flag or anything like that, just that the vast majority of us think that he'll be a nice replacement for O'Loughlin while Jesse becomes the player we think he can be.
The same 'so much hope' argument can be put forward for the two kids. I'm a huge fan of Jesse but he's only played a handful of games and none of us have a clue what Johnston is capable of yet.
If the kids are good enough, they will get a game.
We'll have injuries anyway, so that sort of thing tends to sort itself out but the depth is very healthy. The fact that we're even arguing about this is exciting.
