I think Currie and Johnston should first worry about making sure they can play regular consecutive ressies games before they think about seniors.

Also, Goodes, White and Magic all occupied the same forwardline at the end of this year. OUT: Magic, IN: Bradshaw. Sure, different types of players, but both play as a KPF. Goodes will be the classic CHF, Bradshaw, FF, White as a 3rd tall.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Awesome news about Bradshaw. Will turn our weak forward line into a potent one.

People who didn't want him have no bloody idea.

If there was any sense to it I am sure there would be more anti-Bradshaw posts.

As it stands there will be no reciprocation here!!!

You've done nothing but complain since he announced he wants to play for Sydney.

Actually I think you will find the complaining started way back when Sydney was announced as a potential home.....

No need to wait until it is confirmed.....

I meant Luke Ablett. Luke Ball would be a nice addition. After all, we could play Ball on the ball. We had great success with our last Ball. Matching Balls in our premiership teams. One in 2005 and one in 2010.

Also thanks goes out to Brisbane's Michael Rischatelli for rejecting the move to Carlton with Bradshaw which has then led to these turn of events.

Hmm... I'm not sure about the cup, but I have a sneaking suspicion Roosy will bow out with one last "up yours" to those who thought we were just going to... fade away, as it were. Wouldn't be surprised if we're more than competitive in 2010 to say the least.

After what Bradshaw did to Carlton in last year's finals, he's more than welcome here!

I've been away for a few days and come back to all this! It's great news for the team about Bradshaw. He has always seemed the intelligent foil to Brown's brawn. Think Magic but so much younger, fitter and maybe a smarter player.

The new team has been placed together bit by bit over a very few weeks and it's going to be exciting to see how they do. If we do the Blood's magic of recycling other team's players well then I can't see why wouldn't be aiming for Top Four next year. We finished the season strongly, and there's going to be a steep learning curve on the practice field, but this is about the most exciting new "instant Swans" team that we've seen to begin a new season.

For a couple of years maybe...provided he doesn't get injured. If he does, it will all end in tears.

How can it end in tears.

At the very least, you then get the forward line that you want.

If [insert player name here] gets injured the team just has to deal with it.

Is this some strange new usage of the phrase 'cheer squad'???

OTOH, if White gets injured, it will be a stroke of genius. Wow, look at that, it works both ways.
