Nah Bradshaw is as good as done
Dees and Tiges will probably take a punt on a youngster that missed the ND, plus you'd think that a couple of players such as MacDonald, Thorpe, McGuire and Cloke will slip to the PSD in addition to McPhee who is destined for Freo.
Not sure what the Roos will do, but just can't see them taking him with his age, contract length and financial demands
Come on 2010 hurry up!!!!Comment

bringing this one back to the front page....
Now the biggest surprise for me in this years draft was Collingwood getting Luke Ball with pick 30, all I have been reading in the media and on footy forums in the last few weeks is that plenty of clubs were going to snare Luke Ball ahead of Collingwood's pick 30. Melbourne, Brisbane, Essendon and Port Adelaide were the front runners. It seems that Luke Ball's ploy of not talking or having anything to do with any of these other clubs worked and he ended up at the club of his choice.
Now, this leads me to believe that because Bradshaw has set up shop in Sydney, moved his family there, put his kids in schools there, etc, etc, then he is.....bugger it I'll say it, he is guaranteed of being of the swans next year and clubs with picks before us will leave him alone and let him come to the club of his choice.
Start celebrating people... We have Daniel Bradshaw..Comment

I love your enthusiasm, but not yet we don't.
I won't start celebrating until it's officially official.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

There is one more list submission to go, but if all the team's lists stand as they are, I believe only:
Melbourne, Freo, Richmond and us have picks in the PSD?Comment

Does anyone know much about the rules associated with the 2009 (or is it 2010?) Pre Season Draft?
Obviously Daniel Bradshaw is the Swans' pick at number 5. However, with 2 veterans, they would be entitled to one more, 40th player for their list. Are they therefore able then to pick Henry Playfair as a second drafted player in the Pre Season Draft?Comment

Looks like Richmond will punt on a youngster in the PSD which should mean that Bradshaw will be a Swan.Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.

Luke Ball slipping through to Collingwood at pick 30 in the national draft augers well for Bradshaw becoming a Blood I think. Seems to suggest that clubs aren't that keen to rock the boat re players and their club of choice where both club and player are keen. Every club had an opportunity to derail that deal if they were desperate enough. Admittedly some clubs might have been interested but weren't sufficiently cashed up. My gut feeling is 95% positive on this one. Bradshaw will soon be a Swan. It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.
