He kicked them when the Hawks were fading in the last, hardly sighted up until then.

Hall got his first free of the season last night.
Thought he was wasted sitting at full forward when the ball wasn't going down there. Eade should have given him a run up the ground, as Roos would have, just to scare a few Saints. The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

At some stage I turned over in the last quarter and thought Eade should tell Hall to go back to the goal square and stay there! Clumsy, lumbering, missed tackles and generally getting in the way was my impression from the small segment I saw.Comment

Whoooops!
Anyone else think Thompson just wanted a story to tell at the pub?I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Not the first time he's tried such antics, just ask Fev.Comment

I haven't seen it yet, but I saw Eades press conference. He was not a happy chappy.Does God believe in Atheists?Comment

Saw a quick cut on Before the Game - I think it was Firrito who knocked him over as he was tying his bootlaces. Baz snapped a headlock on him, other Kangas tried to haul him off, resulting in the Kanga Hall had being dragged up the ground by his neck. Hall was then set upon by assorted Kangas and raised his arms to a nearby umpire. Nothing followed. Coach Scott sees it as fair!He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

It was Scott Thompson, not Firrito.Comment

That headlock looked pretty serious though, I suspect the AFL is not going to take kindly to players choking other players.Comment
