Yep, saddens me to see him in the red, white and blue. He's killing them.

Josh Gibson couldn't play on him each week.

Could have soimething to do with the delivery into the forward line. The Bulldogs midfield can actually kick.

Yes, Hall always had it over Gibson, Firrito (sp?) was always better.

and the Hawks did not appear to double/triple team Hall.

It's just good to see him playing in whatever colours, if his career had ended on the last note with Sydney, it would have been a bit... of a limp ending. Have fun playing footy at 33, and beyond bazza...

Yes , it was good to see him back in form and giving much more than the Dogs had hoped for. He will be double tagged after last night.
The umpires must like him now that he's a Victorian
Oh, and he didnt hit anyone!

He must have been thinking "So this is what it is like to get quick, accurate delivery" The Bulldogs have beautiful footskills.

Was it Hodge who stuck his head under Baz's arm? A bit of a laugh or trying on a bit of provocation?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Still kicked plenty of goals when he was actually playing.

I'd like to see him do well, but I will be sooooooo pee'd off when they play us if the scumps start handing out free kicks for the same things he got nada, zero, zip, nuffin when he wore red and white for 8 years.

I hope Jesse White gets the chance to play on Gibson.

Giansiracusa made the point post-game that Hall was well-rested, like Tadgh K.

FWIW it's been a good preseason for ex-Swans. Buchie tore it up for the Lions last week and even barn-door Schneider was on target.

No biggie. We've gained a lot more out of our trades in recent years than we've lost.
