I hope being back in the team doesn't affect the quality of Ted's writing.

The great thing about the Swans this year is that we have viable options when an important player goes down. 12 months ago if B2 was injured it would have been all doom and gloom but not so this year.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

More material to work with, especially if he plays on Fev.

Yes, Ted is readable, isn't he.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I suppose LRT will get Hall when we play the Dogs.

Digressing somewhat, can anyone explain to me what happened to our second draft pick in the 2005 draft? We traded picks 19 & 50 to Essendon for Teddy - but by my reckoning we should still have had pick 35. That seems to have been taken by the Cats, but I can't find any record of them trading in 2005? Curious...do you think we just forgot to turn up?

Ted certainly deserves his chance if a tall defender is what's required - done nothing wrong before or after sacrificing his spleen for the club.

Wasn't that the pick we traded for Chambers?

Shame about B2, gonna miss ya Craig, but I'm sure we can cover him....and yes, we will/can re-build him.(cue 6,000,000.00 dollar man music).

Chambers never happened. It was all a figmant of our imgination and we just passed on Pick 35 because of our great depth heading into 2006.

There was a post on the Swans' facebook page - something like "Will it be someone from left field?". Probably just wanting to stir up interest, but made me look up the report on the ressies. "Dylan McNeil was best again." Hmmmm - any takers? I can't even find a profile for him on the website, so is that left field enough?

Personally, I'm hoping to see Vesz back and celebrating a couple of goals - just to make Fev feel his age.

Must have been but amazing that it doesn't appear in any of the trade lists. I think the whole AFL must have wiped their hands of Torture. To make matters worse, the Cats' pick never played a game for them.

Injury forces Bolton to wait for 200th match

down the bottom they talk about smith taking over boltons place and possibly bringing in Vezpremi or TDL.

TDL please! i wan't to see what this kid can do at AFL level, screw the pre-season, this kid looks like he could be our Milne, Betts, Rioli etc. etc.
