    Who has been tagging Ablett?

Too slow! Too many hesitations! As was said earlier, too many flinchings from diving in & playing rough! I love my Braddles, but he seems rattled by Scarlett. I miss all our injured players. And I want the umpires and all their families to be dragged beneath mud-choked waters & devoured by crocs on their next vacations, which will hopefully take place in the middle of this coming week.

It was time last week and I have no doubt if it wasn't for the injuries, he would have been dropped.

I luv him, but he is looking tired and devoid of confidence. Even his kicking has turned to @@@@.

i don't think ablett has been tagged - mattner seems to play on him in the forward line and jack whn he is on the ball.

the reality though is that we dont have anyone getting the ball. we just dont seem to want to get it so much as seek to stop the other gu from getting it

Any talk of Sydney being a top-four side at this point was ridiculous anyway.

We'd won five from six, but against sides 12th, 14th, 15th and 16th on the ladder. Brisbane were the only side we beat outside that, and even then they are not one of the top sides, and that was at home.

We've had a number of players well down on form this season, and were very fortunate with injuries for the first few weeks. That has covered weaknesses which would have made it very clear where we really stood.

Yep. All the doubters need look no further than this game to see his value to the team. Hopefully the 'down on LRT' threads are now all consigned to the dustbin of history!

Im not a fan of Barlow and we are giving him a hard time, but there is worse than him out there, at least he has kicked a goal.
Ablett is playing with us. Geelong are the best in the comp, good hands, skills and strength, they have it all. we got 7-8 good players and the rest are making up numbers.

Horrible horrible 3rd quarter. Our forward line is almost non existent. Jetta looks lost. Mumford needs to calm down. Goodes needs to lift big time. Only hope now is that we dont get thrashed.

No doubt LRT and Bolton would have added toughness, but they were both injured - Bevan was left out.
