I know he's a tall but blokes like O'Dwyer and Veszpremi must be scratching their heads wondering what they've got to do.

I would have liked them to bring in one of those two youngsters and send ROK to FF (or ROK to CHF/Goodes to FF) with the youngsters to either play in the midfield in ROK's place or in the backline with one of Marty or Rhyce moved to the midfield. I know Ryan's not a true tall, but he plays tall when up forward.

Very interesting - but is this a balanced team - I'm not so sure (but what options did we have?).

We lost a bit of hardness around the ball with Mumford and Moore out (and McGlynn still injured). It is a bit strange, but I do feel a bit sorry for Barlow - as badly as he played, to get dropped when there were two forced out through injury and suspension must be a real kick in the guts.

Great to have LRT and Hanners back, and I like the punt on Playfair. Not sure how we will fair against the Bulldogs (who I would have thought would be favourites), but that is part of the fun in watching football. Go Swanners!

Having Playfair gives us more options with ruck and our forward line, especially with Eade bringing Minson back.
