His hands are pretty solid but he has very little physical presence. Just can't see what he brings to the table - surely we'd be better with a lively, small player with more ability.
I think he will be a target who can pluck a few grabs and at the very least bring the ball to ground. Whilst the big fella isn't a good kick (terrible actually) and has had a lot of injuries, I think it's easy to forget that he can play a bit.

Sorry Captain, its gone into the ethers and can never be erased......and that's why he is in the 2s.....oh dear....just had a thought.....what if they had retained Cheese? Which would have been the poorer decision......
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood
I had the SEN commentary on they bagged Richards, Pyke, Playfair and White as useless and ineffectual on the day, although noting that Pyke & White had talent
My major memory of Playfair yesterday was of him falling over. He does that well though, he has falling over in a contest down to a fine art. We're probably going to lose next week, so at least give players with a future at the club, Currie or LJ or MOD a look in
That was embarassing to watch
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

White is my disappointment. He looks athletic, seems to get to the ruck contest around the ground but when the ball hits the ground is lost. His tackles were limp wristed, no second efforts and how long do we give him to impose himself on a game. He should have been getting back to block Hall like good ruckmen do. Looks like full forward or forward pocket are his go. Lesson learned, leave him up forward from now on.
White should be dropped to the ressies and made to play full back for the rest of the year. He may even turn into a decent defender.
He should be delisted and banished to a desert island Napoleon style where tackling the natives he will learn to impose himself on those around him. After a year he will swim back to sydney with the desire required to play AFL football, at which point he will get drafted by GWS

I like it. Sounds like an excellent strategy to me...
