Changes for next week.

Last time they dropped Jesse to the twos he had a couple of blinders.....I mean BIG time......he always shows glimpses of where he could be, and he is showing us more and more of them. He has the huge body of a ready made player, but he is still young......looks at least five years older than he actually is, and I think that blows some of us off line when it comes to assessment.

As for Playfair, I don't think he actually expected to get a callup to seniors. He is Poppa Bear in the ressies. We had very little choice people, they all got broken or suspended for no apparent reason.

Seriously folks - lets all take a deep breath. You replace like for like unless the weather changes your views. You don't drop one of the talls for an outside runner. Playfair may not be anyone's cup of tea - and i do wonder whether he's anyone's - but you don't change him for an outside runner with questionable disposal...

That's the argument and it's a good one. I don't like seeing talls playing, just because they're tall - like to see them actually do things and not just fill space.

Surely the obvious choice was Currie in the ruck against a pretty average Dogs duo, with White to stay in the position he's been playing in and training all summer. For all the cons Currie presented according to the RWO psychologists, he would have offered more than Playfair.

The meaning of this is that maybe they could be better than Playfair and Richards but the only way to know is to try them out when an opportunity arises. Then we will know. There is no suggestion in what I said that they are matchwinners now,at this point in time.I hope my meaning is clearer now. I will try to be clearer in the future,yes really!
