Mummy, downgrade - 2 week ban - swans consider appeal

Has been offered 2 weeks. Don't have a link yet.

    Will Currie debut?!!

      Great....
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I assume this is because he had the audacity to tackle precious little Garry.

And tried to plant him into the turf.

The suspension would cover the Freo game as well... Sandilands!

Was there a suspension, an offer or anything after ROK had a similar tackle laid on him in the Brions game?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Dagnammit, I don't have a copy of the Brions game anymore. Would love it if someone captured the tackle on ROK from the Brions game and captured the tackle on GAJ by Mummy and put them both up on youtube.

ROK's wasn't as 'obvious', the commentators didn't even note it until it was evident that ROK wasn't getting up.

If Currie doesn't debut this week he never will.

Surely it's time now to play him.

What a blow. That makes it very difficult, particularly against Fremantle.

Our ruck combination looked so good for the first few weeks of the season as well.

Pyke with Currie or White? Maybe Goodes (even though it's been said he won't play that position again).

Anyone have a clue what the incident is?
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

I wonder if they'll fight the charge (whatever it is). As others have said the bump on Ablett was no worse than the one on O'Keefe.

Shane Mumford, Sydney Swans, has been charged with a Level Three engaging in rough conduct offence against Gary Ablett, Geelong Cats, during the fourth quarter of the Round Seven match between the Sydney Swans and the Geelong Cats, played at Skilled Stadium on Sunday May 9, 2010.
In summary, he can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.
The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), medium impact (two points) and high contact (two points). This is a total of six activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Three offence, drawing 325 demerit points and a three-match sanction. He has no existing good or bad record. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 243.75 points and a two-match sanction.
                              Wow, harsh.

BTW, same number of points as Bateman's hit on Sheppard
